Kaufman and Cohens at RFH

Here's a bit of tasty movie-related stuff we didn't mention in the Friday Film News because we didn't want anyone to miss it (it's that good).

It seems that Charlie 'I make a living out of being bonkers' Kaufman is planning a play called Theatre For The New Ear to be performed at the Royal Festival Hall in May.

And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, according to Empire the Kauffman play will be performed alongside another production...this one by the genius Cohen brothers.

Kauffman is quoted as saying "It's kind of in the form of a concert or radio play, with Carter Burwell (the Coens regular composer) doing the musical score, and actors on stage with the orchestra and the foley artist."

Want more? Apparently some of the actors lined up to perform in the plays include Meryl Streep, Hope Davis, Peter Dinklage, Steve Buscemi, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Brooke Smith.

Chances of us wanting to go to this: 100%. Chances of us actually being able to get a ticket: 0.5%. But that won't stop us from trying!
