According to a survey by drinks company Carpe Diem (no, we'd never heard of them either, and the drinks look weird) Londoners are rubbish at sticking to their 2005 resolutions.
The survey says that "19 per cent of Londoners will break their New Year's resolutions within the hour of making them." (that'll be the smokers then), which puts us six per cent over the national average.
44 per cent "admitted they would probably break their resolutions within a week", and the most popular excuses included "The sofa's too comfy", "Not enough money", and our personal favourite: "might miss something good on TV".
Londonist's resolutions this year include: complete the Davina McCall exercise video and swim with dolphins...or is that our 'to do before we die' list...we get mixed up.
