Australia Day In Trafalgar Square

beach.jpgsquare.jpg

Yes, that’s right, today Australia is coming to Trafalgar Square in the shape of a lager-sponsored artifical beach! It doesn’t get any more fun that that kids.

Because 26 January is Australia Day, (when Australians “come together as a nation to celebrate what’s great about Australia and being Australian”), Fosters have decided that it would be a good idea to “bring some much needed Aussie sunshine to the bleak British winter”.

So they’re installing “sand, surf and babes” (surf? really?) plus Phil ‘I’ve met a few Australians in my time’ Tufnell will be hosting an exciting game of ‘beach cricket’.

Lodonist readers should be aware however of the smallprint on Fosters website which reads: “No alcohol will be available at this event.”

Don’t blame us if you catch your death.
