NME reports that material written by Jonny Greenwood and Thom Yorke of Radiohead will be played for the first time at the London Ether Festival. Tickets can be bought directly from the Royal Festival Hall, where the gigs will take place on 27-28th March.

In 2004, the Ether Festival featured music from the likes of Aphex Twin and John Cage, played live by the London Sinfonietta. 2005's festival looks set to follow a similar format, with the aforementioned Radioheads taking part. The London Sinfonietta says that, "in a new departure for Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood, the Royal Festival Hall is filled with traditional Arabic song and the eerie sound of multiple ondes martenots."

We know what you're thinking, so here's a link to Wikipedia's definition of ondes martenots.
