The Sun newspaper has the first photograph of Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka, from the set of Tim Burton's Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.
Currently being filmed over at Pinewood Studios, Depp is starring alongside Helena Bonham-Carter, David Hyde and Christopher Lee in what Burton promises will be a faithful adapatation of the Roald Dahl story.
Under the headline Johnny Depp's a Wonka, The Sun has a grainy black and white shot of Depp in a high top hat and oversized sunglasses. They also state that Depp looks more sinister than Gene Wilder did in the 1971 movie (a debatable point of view we think).
For the purposes of comparison the paper also has a picture of Depp as he "usually looks", just in case you didn't know what Johnny Depp looked like.
